wordle… cool!

I thought I’d deviate from my recent trend of travel-blog-ness.  I stumbled across a cool little webapp just now that makes interesting word clouds of… well… whatever you want.  (Damn, I’m a sucker for uselss webapps!)  So, I plugged in my blog and my resume just to see how it turned out.  Voila!

Then, I began to reminisce on my world pre- and post- bschool.  So… what better way than to wordle (yes, I’m verbing it) the progress of my resumes.  I present exhibits A thru C.

Exhibit A: Ultra dorkiness (right out of undegrad Computer Science)

It’s actually quite embarrassing to see “introduction” as one of the largest words.  But even worse…. “CPSC” is freaking huge!!

Exhibit B: Desperate bschool applicant (after getting lectured by my application advisor)

Slightly better right?  Apparently, I’m working the foreign student angle by screaming “CANADA” at the admissions committees.  And, trying to work the X-factor with “snowboard”, “arts” (bwahaha.. yah right) and “instructor”.  But, tht doesn’t quite excuse the big ass “obtained” right smack in the middle.  *sigh*  One more try…

Exhibit C: Polished post-bschool?  I hope…

I have to say that this is just comical.  I shit you not… this was generated from my most recent resume.  I ran wordle once… totally not doctored.
