One of my must dos while here at Sloan was to participate in a C-Function. I wasn’t picky… it could be anything from replacing one of those inflatable palm trees in the Latin C-Function, or was it the Israel C-Function, or was it the Middle East C-Function? Or, it could range all the way to being a model for one of the cultural fashion shows.
So, when the opportunity came up to dance it up… bhangra style… I snapped it up without hesitation. Three weeks of vigorous bhangra practice (and the perfect excuse NOT to go to the gym), and we were just about ready to fool the 2011 AdMITs that yes… Bhangra IS in fact a leadership elective.
The proof is in the pudding…
One of our many practices led by our fearless leaders Harpreet (below), Itai and Akbar

Getting rid of our pre-performance jitters (with a little help from some liquid courage)

A traditional dance with a “little” more training… ahem… professional training

Our intro! Roooolllling in!

Song #1: Captain Bhangra

Song #2: Aapna Sangeet

Song #3: Punjabi MC!!!!

Stunt time… even with the blur, you can see all the blood rushing to my head

After which a quick dive-roll over Akbar! Turns out there wasn’t much clearance…

And most importantly, the start of the after-party… which led to an after-after-party… which led to… I can’t remember.

The entire Punjabi MC dance! Check it out!
